“Ignite” events are like geek parties, (the good kind of geek, the kind I would like to be).  My steady employer VRAC (Virtual Reality Applications Center) invited me to draw digital caricatures at the Ignite Ames event. (http://www.igniteames.org/2010/)  Which concluded the WinVR conference, an IT conference.  It was awesome, I had a great time!  I didn’t get to participate but I could listen to great entertainment like powerpoint karaoke.  That, my friend, is when there are random powerpoint slides and the speaker has to link them together as if he knows what he’s talking about.
